Broadmoor Motors history began in 1955 when Henry Koning opened Koning Car Corner and his 11 year old son, Ken Koning started cleaning cars. By age 17, Ken had started buying and selling cars. In 1988 Ken moved out to Caledonia to start Broadmoor Motors. Since then Broadmoor Motors has grown steadily with the belief that selling high quality vehicles for a fair price in high quantity was more beneficial than over-inflating prices on fewer sales. It is in this way that their customers are able to enjoy buying a vehicle in a unique, pressure-free atmosphere.
Today, Ken’s two sons Matt and Brad have followed in the family car business. They have helped with the continued growth of Broadmoor Motors by not only selling cars locally but across the country utilizing eBay and other internet sources.
In 2010, Matt and Brad created Sign and Drive Rent-a-Car which offers a variety of vehicles for weekly and daily rentals. Their company’s goal is to amaze each customer with top quality service, transparent pricing and a flexibility uncommon in the rental industry.
